RARE SECRET SERVICE REPORTS MENTIONING GIUFFRE- CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE!
Jack Giuffre is mentioned in these two books:
2000 article quoting Giuffre:
messages from Giuffre's cousin:
Vince,
Jack Joseph Giuffre was my mom's 1st cousin. He grew up in the Bronx and we did not know him well growing up in Indiana where his mom's side of the family was from. I was looking for his phone number today when I saw that you had mentioned him. He carried a little snub nose .38 back in the early 60's and that was what reminded me of him. He knew details and I got the feeling that there was more to it than he could say. He came to my grandpa's funeral in 1975. I always admired him and got a degree in Criminal Justice in 1986, the same as he did back in the 50's. He was an FBI agent too. I will send you a check for your book. I am really surprised that you could find his name (public information). He once told me a story about how JFK dove into the ocean off of his boat in the Keys and Jack had to jump in with all of his cloths on and swim beside the president. No one could have stopped the shot to JFK but I know Jack would have done his best to save him if he had been there that day.

Dear Vince Palamara,
You are obviously a great researcher to find out so much information about the Secret Service agents during the Kennedy administration. My cousin was in fact one of those agents. He was my childhood hero (I was born in 1957) and his name was John (Jack) Giuffre. He personally guarded JFK on numerous ocassions. He is still alive and living in Sarasota Florida. He is now 81 years old and was part of the investigating team into JFK's death. I doubt very seriously if he will talk about it and will probably take his knowledge to the grave with him. He was not there in Dallas on Nov. 22nd. He was chief of the Chicago office for a long time. I was trying to find his phone number when I ran across your web site. I would like to have a copy of your book, SURVIVOR'S GUILT: THE SECRET SERVICE AND THE FAILURE TO PROTECT PRESIDENT KENNEDY.
