On this edition of DTRH Popeye welcomes back friend, author, and JFK assassination researcher Vince Palamara. Known as the Secret Service expert, Vince has appeared on DTRH numerous times in past. He has a book coming out in October 2013, and has been featured in part seven (7) of a nine (9) part series from the History channel called “The Men Who Killed Kennedy,” his episode was titled “The Smoking Guns.” They go over, in detail, the Secret Service’s roll in President Kennedy’s murder. Make sure to tune into this powerful broadcast.

Superb- a truly humble American hero

Format: Hardcover

Jerry Parr epitomizes the definition of a true American hero and a humble one, to boot. Mr. Parr is a truly nice man who we can all thank for saving President Reagan on that terrible day back in March 1981. In addition, Mr. Parr is to be highly commended for his service to not only this country but to God above. Mr. Parr, along with his wife Carolyn, have produced a very well written account of a fine public servant that I would highly recommend to all audiences, young and old. This book is a "keeper"; one you will want to own and read many times.

Now we need to try to convince Mr. Parr's deputy, Robert DeProspero, to write his own memoir.

Essential purchase: get this one asap. Along with Gerald Behn and the aforementioned Mr. DeProspero, Jerry Parr is one of my favorite Secret Service agents of all time. It is a joy to hear him speak on television and this fine memoir speaks just as well.
