Secret Service agents with Abraham Bolden

 I extremely torn. It is down to these three agents: Joe Noonan, who served on the White House Detail at the same time as Abe (AND later joined him at the Chicago office), Bill Payne (who was on his shift) and Ken Wiesman, who was also on his shift. Noonan is the best resemblance, yet Payne has the same smirk/frown as in that photo. Abe's one lawyer wondered if I knew who the agent (large arrow) standing next to Abe (smaller arrow) was.




A couple years back, I was excited to have found what I thought was a photo of Abe Bolden with JFK in Chicago 3/23/63 (as you can see by the other doc, he was definitely there). Abe initially said it was him, then thought it over and said it was not. It COULD be another African-American agent by the name of Conrad Cross (sadly, I have no photo of him).

"video where Clint Hill says at 31:05 "The agent on the right rear. working the right rear at that time is an agent named Don Lawton. His assignment for that day was not to ride on the follow up car. His assignment was to remain at Love Field and handle our return secure the airport for us when we came back... When he came back off the car he was saying "OK, you guys, I'm going to lunch. Have a good trip." Couple of questions, though... If his assignment was to remain at Love Field, why was he protecting the vehicle in the first place, using the exact words above "working the right rear"? Using those exact words, he WAS working the right rear, and then stopped working the right rear. Second reference notice exact words " when he came back off the car" Secondly that body language of shrugging his shoulders three times doesn't seem to match what he is purportedly trying to relate. If it were me under those circumstances I'd being raising my right arm and wave at them to indicate "OK, you guys, I'm going to lunch. Have a good trip." He appears to look confused when he does the shoulder shrugs."
