Tampa, FL, 11/18/63. Lead motorcycle officer Russell Groover confirms the Secret Service document and other evidence: multi-story building rooftops were guarded during JFK's longest domestic motorcade (28 miles), far longer than the 11-mile Dallas motorcade. Single-floor dwellings were guarded by military and police (see photo), agents on the rear of the limo, and a great bracketed motorcycle formation. They also relied on the speed of the cars at certain points. A military aide rode between ASAIC Boring and SA Greer.
