-Former Secret Service agent Gerald Blaine, the author of
the book The Kennedy Detail, a dubious book I have given a detailed and
negative review when it came out, is a source not to be trusted. He never
mentioned the 10/19/62 Springfield, Illinois incident before: not in his book,
his documentary, or in his many media appearances. He does mention the 10/19/62
visit to Springfield, Illinois in his book (pages 94-95), yet nothing about the
incident in question;

From the above article: “The Kennedy
Detail,” a 2011 book written by one of the Secret Service agents present during
the 1962 Springfield visit, made no mention of the arrest. A request for
comment from author Gerald Blaine was not returned.
-YET BLAINE NOW “REMEMBERS” THE INCIDENT!! See:
-agents on the trip that I know of (based on photos): ASAIC
John Campion, ATSAIC (Shift Leader) Art Godfrey, Bill Duncan, Sam Sulliman, Bob
